JAM 2020: Form Correction Process Started, Check details here

    The IIT JAM 2020 application form correction process has already been started from yesterday on 18th Oct 2019 by IIT, Kanpur.



    The candidates who have successfully submitted their application form before the last date of registration can correct some sections of their submitted application form such as category, PwD status, gender/category, and change of city, examination city/town (only in exceptional circumstances). The form correction process will conclude in 28th Oct 2019.

    As this is the last chance to correct any mistake so candidates are advised to check the details thoroughly before submitting.

    Some important instructions to keep in mind during the correction process-

    • You can correct your data by logging in into JOAPS portal.
    • You can correct only a few section like category, PwD status, gender/category, and change of city, examination city/town
    • In case of changing category, PwD status, change of city, you need pay extra additional fee like the fee for changing the examination city or centre is ? 500/- . But the fee is non-refundable and doesn't guarantee the change of the city.

    This JAM 2020 exam is conducted for providing admission to the M.Sc., Joint M.Sc.-Ph.D., M.Sc.-Ph.D. Dual Degree & other post-bachelor’s degree courses at IITs. This year, the test will be conducted for a total of 18 IITs and Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore as 3 more IITs like IIT Bhilai, IIT (BHU) Varanasi and IIT Palakkad participating this year.


    The application fees for one test paper is Rs. 1500 and that for two test papers is Rs. 2100. However, the candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD and Female categories need to remit an application fee of Rs. 750 for one test paper and Rs. 1050 for two test papers.
