SRMJEEE 2019 Application form, Syllabus, Exam Pattern

SRM University has released SRMJEEE Application Form 2019 on 27th October 2018. SRM Institute of Science & Technology is conducting SRMJEEE 2019 online application for admission to programmes offered in SRM IST Chennai, SRM University - Haryana Sonepat and SRM University - AP Amaravati. The SRMJEEE 2019 will be held across 125 test centers in India and few centers in Middle-east from April 15 to April 25, 2019.
Note: Unlike to previous years this year the SRM University will be accepting applications for SRMJEEE 2019 in only online mode.
Eligibility Criteria:
Eligibility for B.Tech Programs
(a) Nationality and Age
Resident Indian or Non-Resident Indian (NRI), holder of PIO or OCI card issued by Government of India are eligible to apply for SRMJEEE (UG).
Should have attained the age of 16 + on the 31st July of the calendar year in which the 12th Board examination is to be held.
Note: NRIs, holders of PIO or OCI card issued by Government of India who has not taken the SRMJEEE (UG) must apply under International student category only.
(b) Qualifying Examination:
 For all B.Tech programmes : 
Minimum 50% aggregate in PCM
(i) Passed in Higher secondary examination (10+2 pattern ) or appearing in Higher Secondary examination in the current academic year with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as major subjects in regular stream from any state board within India, CBSE, ISCE, Matriculation, or NIOS
(ii) GCE A-level or International Baccalaureate(IB) diploma or IB certificate with Physics,  Chemistry and Mathematics as major subjects in any International schools within India
Eligibility for B.Tech Biotechnology, B.Tech Biomedical Engineering and B.Tech Genetic Engineering
Minimum 50% aggregate in PCM / PCB
(i) Passed in Higher secondary examination (10+2 pattern ) or appearing in Higher Secondary examination in the current academic year with Physics, Chemistry and  Mathematics or Biology or Biotechnology as major subjects in regular stream from any state board within India, CBSE, ISCE, Matriculation, or NIOS
(ii) GCE A-level or International Baccalaureate(IB) diploma or IB certificate with Physics, Chemistry,  Mathematics or Biology as major subjects in any International schools within India
Note: Kashmir migrants are eligible for relaxation in eligibility for admission subject to minimum eligibility requirements as per UGC.

Exam Pattern:

  • This entrance examination will be conducted in online, computer-based mode.
  • Exam Duration is 2 hours 30 minutes (150 minutes). 
  • The paper contains 105 questions, 35 each for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology. 
  • The questions are of objective type. 
  • Each question has equal weightage of marks that is for every correct response +3 marks will be awarded to candidates. There is no negative marking.
  • The SRMJEE 2019 paper would be in English.

SRMJEE 2019 syllabus consists of chapters from 11th & 12th class mathematics and science. The subject-wise detailed SRM JEE syllabus is listed below.
Physics
Electronics & Communication, Ray and Wave Optics, Oscillations and Wave Motions, Atomic Physics and Relativity, Dual Nature of Matter and Nuclear Physics, Electronics and Communication, Units and Measurement, Mechanics, Heat and Thermodynamics, Gravitation, Electricity and Magnetism, Mechanics of Solids and Fluids.
Chemistry
Atomic Structure, Chemical Families: Periodic Properties, Chemical Bonding, Chemical Equilibrium, Solutions, Purification and Characterization of Organic Compounds, Electrochemistry, Some Basic Principles of Organic Chemistry, Catalysis and Nuclear Chemistry, Molecular Structure and s&p- block elements, States of matter, Surface Chemistry, Chemical Kinetics, Chemical Thermodynamics & Energetics, Hydrocarbons, Organic Compounds Containing Oxygen, Organic Compounds Containing Nitrogen, Bio Molecules, Polymers.
Mathematics
Combinatorics, Algebra, Integral Calculus & Differential Equations of First order, Analytical Geometry, Sets, Relations and Functions, Quadratic Equations, Matrices, Determinants and their Applications, Differential Calculus and its applications, Vector Algebra, Statistics and Probability, Complex Numbers.
Biology

The exam will be conducted by NTA twice a year and the exam schedule and other details like eligibility criteria will be available on their official website. The National Test Agency (NTA) has started online application process for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main January 2019 on September 1, 2018.  JEE Main 2019 will be conducted twice in a year by NTA. If a candidate appears in both the tests, the better of the two scores will be used for the admissions and eligibility for JEE Advanced 2019. Aadhar card is not mandatory says NTA: JEE Main 20...

National Testing Agency declared that the 12 digit Aadhar card number is not mandatory for registering for JEE Main 2019 exam.The registration process will end on 30th September, 2018. NTA has declared this after there was some queries about mandatory filling of Aadhar card number in the registration process. NTA also said the online Application form which is being filled in currently also clearly provides for entering any valid government identity number. The registration process for both JEE Main 2019 and UGC NET 2018 will be held on the official website of NTA.

JEE Advanced 2019 exam date out...

JEE Advanced 2019 exam date has been declared by IIT Roorkee on 11th October 2018. JEE Advanced is a national level entrance exam and the get way to admission in Bachelor’s, Integrated Master’s or Bachelor-Master Dual Degree courses in IITs, NITs.  JEE Advanced 2019 will be conducted by the IIT, Roorkee on May 19, 2019.
