The National Test Agency (NTA) has started online application process for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main January 2019 on September 1, 2018.
JEE Main 2019 will be conducted twice in a year by NTA. If a candidate appears in both the tests, the better of the two scores will be used for the admissions and eligibility for JEE Advanced 2019. However, according to NTA, candidates are not required to compulsorily appear in both the tests.
The NTA will conduct the first JEE (Main) — January 2019 for admission to Undergraduate Programs in NITs, IIITs and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions etc. between 6-'' January 2019 to 20th January 2019.
Applicants can fill JEE Main 2019 online application forms on both nta.ac.in and jeemain.nic.in.

According to official notification JEE Main Paper-1, which is to be given by Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and Bachelor of Technology (BTech) aspirants, will be conducted in two shifts: 9.30 am to 12.30 pm, and 2.30 to 5.30 pm. The test will be taken in mathematics, physics, and chemistry, and will be computer-based.
JEE Main Paper-2, which is to be given by Bachelor of Architecture (B Arch) and Bachelor of Planning (B Planning) aspirants, will be held in a single shift. The test will be taken in mathematics (Part I), aptitude tests (Part II), and drawing test (Part III).Part I and Part II will be computer-based test. Part III will be pen-and-paper-based.
Online application starting date is 1st September 2018
Online application ending date is 30th September 2018
Fees can be paid online up to 1 October.
