There has been a revised counselling schedule for NEET AIQ seats. this has been released by The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) . The new schedule reads "The allotment of seats for Round I will now be made on July 1, postponed from June 27, i.e. today. However, the decision to postpone events was along expected lines as earlier DGHS had extended the last date of registration till June 26 and choice filling till June 27 (11 am)."
Those Candidates who were allotted seats in the first round of counselling will now have to report at allotted colleges between July 1 and 6 whereas the previous reporting schedule for the first round of counselling was June 28-July 3, 2019.
Few other events have also been revised which include registration for the second and final round of counselling for AIQ seats, which will now be open from July 9-11, postponed from July 6-8. The seat allotment result will be declared on July 15.
Difference between Centralized counselling and State Counselling:
DGHS conducts centralized counselling for 15% AIQ/Central/Deemed Universities/AFMC seats. The counselling is conducted in online mode. Like mentioned above, two online rounds will be held for AIQ seats. But for Central/Deemed Uni./ESIC seats, an additional mop-up round will also be conducted.
In the interval, admission to state quota seats and all seats of private colleges will be administered by the respective state counselling authorities.
