  • MDI Gurgaon has commenced its online application process for the PGP courses and interested candidates can register themselves through the official institute website.
  • Selection of candidates to the PGPM, PGP-HRM, PGP-IM is done on the basis of CAT scores followed by the performance GD and PI round.
  • Admission to the NPM/ PGPEM is done through CAT/ GMAT scores followed by an interview.
  • For admission to FPM, candidates are shortlisted through CAT/ GMAT/ GRE/ UGC-JRF followed by Personal Interview conducted by the institute.
  • In case of Part-Time PGPM, candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the Written Test and Interview.
  • In order to complete the registration process, the candidates are required to make an online payment of INR 2596 (Incl. of 18% GST) using Credit card/Debit card/Net Banking.

The summer placements are very good in terms of sector and salary. Consulting and Marketing remain the most desired fields and an increase in the roles in finance area has been seen in the year 2017. Placements are getting better in the upcoming years due to increase in the number of diverse companies and their sectors.Apart from the summer internship by the students enrolled in the PGPM and PGP-HRM courses, 30 students have enrolled for the Post Graduate Program in International Management (PGP-IM). These students do their internship abroad for a duration that can vary from anywhere between 4 – 12 months. In the past, PGP-IM students have interned with companies such as Bombardier, Sanofi-Aventis, Credit Agricole, BNP Paribas, Henkel Germany, Schwarzkopf, L'Oreal, British American Tobacco, Cartagena Capital, Dassault Systems, Allianz, Schneider Electric, NOAH Advisors, GE Healthcare, Orange, GIE AXA, etc. Several of these companies tend to absorb the interns as full-time recruits post the completion of the students’ academic curriculum.

MDI Gurgaon invites application for management programs

Management Development Institute (MDI) Gurgaon has declared the admission process for Management programmes for the academic session 2019-21through CAT 2018 exam. The last date to apply online for all management programmes is 24th Nov 2018.
Management Development Institute (MDI) Gurgaon offers Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM), Post Graduate Programme in Human Resource Management (PGHRM) and Post Graduate Programme in International Management (PGPIM, National Management Programme (NMP)/ PGP-EM (Energy Management) Programme.
MDI Gurgaon Programmes Fees:

  • PGPM 2018-20:  Rs.21,34,000/-
  • PGP-HRM 2019-21:  Rs.21,34,000/-
  • PGP-IM 2019-21:  Rs.25,00,000/-

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates with Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with minimum 50% aggregate are eligible to apply for all programmes. Students in the final year of graduation can also apply.
  • Candidates appearing for the final examination of Bachelor’s degree or equivalent examination need to furnish evidence to that effect latest by 1st October 2019; otherwise, they may be asked to withdraw from the programme.
  • Candidates should have a valid CAT 2018 scorecard with good percentile.
  • Candidates need to have a minimum 5 years post-qualification executive work experience as on 31st December 2018, for NMP/PGP-EM programmes.
  • Foreign candidates should have GMAT score card.

How to apply:

  • Candidates can apply online on the official website.
  • Candidates have to upload the scanned documents in the prescribed format. So at the time of application candidates have to prepare with all the asked documents scan copy.
  • Candidates don’t need to send any hard copy of application form to the university but need to keep the print out of the application form for future references.

Selection Process:

  • Candidates will be short listed on the basis of their CAT scores. 
  • Only the shortlisted candidates will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interviews during February and March 2019 at one of the centers of MDI, Gurgaon.
  • Other centers of MDI are Bangalore, Gurgaon, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Chennai and Mumbai (centers other than Gurgaon are tentative).

MDI Gurgaon hosts ‘Enterprise Architecture in the Digital Era’ conference

One of India’s premier B-Schools, MDI Gurgaon & The Open Group joined hand to conduct a first-of-its-kind convention on Enterprise Architecture. The conference was titled "Enterprise Architecture in the Digital Era”. It geared toward providing a platform for discussion on enterprise design models, best practices and case studies. Enterprise design could be a comparatively new discipline that specializes in an associate integrated and innovative approach that may change a company to align with the fact of business and deliver on its digitalization promise.

MDI Gurgaon, as a lead, has taken a step forward in this specific digital field to conduct such conference like Enterprise Architecture in India.

Dr. Emandi Sankara Rao, Chairman, Board of Governors, MDI Gurgaon, Dr. Pallab Saha, Chief Architect, The Open Group and Prof. (Dr.) Atmanand, Director (Additional Charge), MDI Gurgaon have graced the conference with their presence. There are 4 hostels, 1 for girls and boys of both first and second-year students. The rooms are well maintained, are hygienic, mess food is homelike and is healthy for the students. The janitors here very friendly and there's no issue as such here. Food quality is very high and has been supervised for years here. Students of PGPM, PGP-HR, and PGP-IM stay on Campus and are provided with accommodation on twin-sharing basis in Change Masters, Takshashila and twin-sharing/four-sharing in Kshitij. There are separate hostel blocks for the girl students called Oddessy (twin-sharing) & Kaveri (twin/triple sharing). Students are required to bring their own PC with LAN card. The rooms are provided with a bed, a study table, a chair, a cupboard, and the usual fixtures.
