Last Minute Tips For BMAT 2019-Bharati Vidyapeeth Pune

B-MAT is a university level test, conducted for admission in MBA programs in colleges related to BVP University. The test is administered by Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University (BVDU). This year BMAT 2019 is scheduled to be held on March 25 in offline mode. So, by now you must have started your final preparation for the exam. For that, you must go through the final preparation tips which will boost up your performance.

First, let's focus upon the exam pattern. BMAT question paper consists of 200 questions from, Current Affairs, Mathematics, Abstract and Logical Reasoning, Computer Awareness, Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude and Management Skills. From here we can conclude that a student needs to have a keen knowledge of all the respective topics to succeed in the exam. Now let us explain to you the steps you need to follow to achieve your goal.

1. Estimate your plan:

The first thing you need to do is have a look at some questions from each section to assess their expectations from the students. Hence, You need to first have a quality understanding of what type of question each section consists of before appearing the exam.

By following this, you will hence get the idea about each and every section. What you need to do is plan out about how to complete the syllabus of each and every section in the last few days left. If you have already completed the whole syllabus then all you need to do is revise them Then only you will be able to identify in which section you need to work and spend more time on that and which you need not put much focus. As hardly fifteen days are left for the exam unnecessarily do not waste time on those sections about which you are confident enough.

2. Practice Previous Question papers:

It is always advisable that students should practice mock papers or previous year past papers to get a proper idea about the questions asked and the pattern followed in the examination. Question papers are easily available on the official websites. Practising previous year's question paper would definitely guide you in terms of your strengths and weaknesses and also will familiarise you with the structure of the exam.

3. Best books for Revision:
  • Current Affairs Yearly by Arihant Experts- Every year, Arihant Experts release their yearly book for current affairs.
  • Test of Mathematics by Indian Statistical Institute- While preparing for mathematics, this book can prove to be the most useful  subject in BMAT
  • Abstract and Logical Reasoning for Dummies- This book deals with the most appropriate questions related to Abstract and Logical Reasoning hence this proves to be very useful.
  • Quantitative Aptitude for Competitive Examinations by RS Aggarwal- This book covers a complete range of questions, with thoroughly worked out solutions in detail.
  • Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension by Arun Sharma and Meenakshi Upadhyay gives clear guidance on how to attempt the various types of questions along with tips and tricks that help save time.

4. Revise wisely:

As BMAT 2019 will be of 200 marks scheduled to be completed in two and a half hours. The question paper will consist of 200 objective type questions from, Current Affairs, Mathematics, Abstract and Logical Reasoning, Computer Awareness, Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude and Management Skills. Hence, now at this peak moment what you need to do is practice from the above-mentioned books and download few mock question papers which you need to appear to check whether you are capable of completing the question paper in that allotted time or not.

5. Prepare for all the levels:

Be positive about your understanding regarding the exam that you might get selected for the interview process hence be mentally prepared for facing GDPI as well as the interview also. Hence do no put all your efforts and time in only preparing for the written exam. Give enough time for preparation of the GDPI as well as the Interview as these would be conducted just after few days of the written exam. Hence at that time with a short term notice, you won't be able to prepare for the GDPI and the  Interview. therefore, it is strongly recommended that you should be well prepared for the GDPI and the Interview from now onwards. And it's really the high time for preparation of the next levels.

6. For GDPI and Interview:

Remember to make sure you do give both sides of the argument and make a strong conclusion to allow you to aim for one of the higher bands. Make sure that you are audible enough among other competitors and you gain the whole attention of the Interview conducting bodies. Also, in the interview, you have to be confident enough to face the crew and keep your point strongly in front of them. They might ask various questions related to any general topic or any subject related topic. all you need is to be confident enough to forecast yourself.

Conclusion:

The best thing to do at this point is to look at the previous year question papers and discuss them with someone so you can consider different perspectives and think from unique points of view. Also, practice the GDPI and the Interview with your friend or in front of the mirror so as to feel confident enough to face the oral examinations.
