Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has declared admission process for 2019 academic session through AEEE 2018 exam.
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham conducts AEEE 2018, a national level Engineering Entrance Examination to offer admissions to candidates in four years B.Tech. Degree programmes. The University offers engineering courses at its three campuses, located at Amritapuri (Kollam), Bengaluru and Ettimadai (Coimbatore). 
Eligibility Criteria:

  • The candidate needs to qualify their 12th standard or its equivalent from a recognized board with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry subjects. 
  • Candidate should have obtained 60% aggregate marks with a minimum of 55% in each of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry subjects in 12th class.
  • 12th class appearing candidates can also apply.

Admission Process:

  • Candidate can get admission through AEEE exam or through JEE Main 2019 scorecard.
  • Candidate need to submit their academic preferences like campus and branch prior to the counseling
  • After result publication, a candidate needs to register for online counseling.
  • Then the candidate accepts the seat offer if satisfied with the allotment and pay the tuition fees online.

The application fee will be Rs. 1000/- for all candidates. Application fee can pay both in online and offline mode.
AEEE 2019 Exam Pattern:

  • The exam will be conducted in both online and offline modes.
  • Exam duration is 150 minutes with 100 Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) questions.
  • There will be negative marking.
  • Candidate will be awarded 3 marks for every correct response and 1 mark will be deducted from the total score for each incorrect answer.

AEEE 2019 is an entrance test conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University. This year AEEE 2019 will be conducted from April 22nd-26, 2019. AEEE 2019 slot booking process has begun by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. Registered Candidates can book their slot for appearing in the AEEE 2019 exam. Candidates right after completing their slot booking process will be able to download their AEEE 2019 admit card. It is always advisable to students to book their slot as early as possible because slots are available on a first-come first serve basis.

Following are the steps for AEEE 2019 Slot Booking:

  • Open the slot booking portal
  • Click on the “Book Slot” tab
  • Login using application number and date of birth
  • Select exam city, date and test centre
  • Verify and confirm the details to book slot
  • The e-admit card will be visible on the screen
  • Verify all the details in admit card and take a print of it

The exam dates for AEEE 2019 are April 22, 24, 25,  and 27. 

There will be 3 different slots for the exam.They are from 09:00 AM to 11:30 AM, 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM. 

NOTE: Application form for AEEE 2019 is still available till 15th April  2019 (Tentative) for the online test (CBT) while for the offline test, it is 25th April 2019 (Tentative). Admission in Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is offered on the basis of AEEE and JEE Main. Also, if you wish to take admission through JEE Main then you need not to appear in AEEE entrance exam.

AEEE 2019 Last Date to Apply Has Been Shifted to April 17

The last date to apply for AEEE 2019 online (computer-based test) mode has been shifted to April 17 by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. Earlier, the last date for application for the entrance exam was April 15. Candidates are eligible to fill the application for pen and paper-based test till April 20. 

As we know the slot booking and admit card for the online test has begun from April 12. 

Also, those who have applied and have been seeking admission in Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham through JEE Main 2019 can submit their applications till May 15. 

The admit cards for offline mode of AEEE 2019 has also been released on April 16

Steps to fill AEEE 2019 application form for the computer-based test?

  • You need to complete the registration. In the registration process, you need to enter basic details like name, gender, category etc.
  • After completing the registration process, you are required to fill the detailed application form of AEEE 2019. You need to enter your personal, academic, communication and other important details in the required boxes.
  • After you are done with filling in all the details, you are required to upload your scanned photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
  • Before the payment of application fee, once check thoroughly all the details entered and make corrections in case any detail has wrong entry.
  • After this, the last step for AEEE 2019 is the payment of application fee. You can pay the required application fee through net banking or credit card/debit card or cash card/wallet.

Applicants can also submit their AEEE 2019 application form offline at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University counters in Amritapuri, Bangalore and Coimbatore campus. The application fee for AEEE channel will be rupees 1000. Candidates who are applying through JEE channel will have to pay rupees 300. AEEE 2019 computer-based test will be conducted on April 22. 24. 25 & 26, 2019 (3 slots each).

The registration for AEEE 2020 is going to be started from 19th Sept 2019 by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.
